The Council for Workforce and Economic Development for Okmulgee County will lead a synergistic effort through a shared vision and common goals that elevates the social indicators for Okmulgee County to the average of Oklahoma on all criteria measured and reported in the 2010 U.S. Census Report.

Council Meetings:
The Okmulgee County Local Workforce Development Council meets quarterly. Meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. and are held at the OSU-Okmulgee Student Union. The meetings fall on the second Tuesday of the first month of each quarter. The 2004 schedule is as follows:
