Covelle Hall, located on the southeast corner of campus, is basically an athletic facility. It houses the gymnasium, a recreational equipment room, two racquetball/handball courts, showers, sauna, an auditorium and two wellness areas furnished with a large variety of exercise/fitness equipment including free weights. Covelle is open for use from 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday; and 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Saturday; and Sunday. To use the facilities or checkout equipment, you must have a current validated student ID.

The Student Union, located in the center of the campus, is a facility dedicated totally to students. Whether you want a cup of coffee, a grilled hamburger, soup, salad, or a full meal, the Student Union is the place to go. You will find all of the above-mentioned items and many others in the expanded dining service located in the northwest corner. In the northeast corner is one of three lounges available for student use. The PSO lounge has an attached solarium and both indoor and outdoor seating. The Viersen lounge at the south end of the building is quieter. If you are bored between classes, you can go to the Union for entertainment.

Student Senate and Student Union Services offices are located off the main mall in the center of the building. The Bookstore is located in the southwest corner of the building. Textbooks, tools, gifts, T-shirts, souvenirs and more can be found in the Bookstore. Next door to the North is the Post Office. Rounding out the building, you will find a number of meeting rooms and one conference room that can be reserved for meetings or special events. Residential Life services can be found in the Wilson Commons, located in the Miller-Kamm dormitory complex east of the Student Union.
