Sites for People with Too Much Time
If you need a break from studying or maybe just a chuckle, relax with one or more of
these sites:
Comics and Cartoons
Dilbert Zone
- Who doesn't like the little guy with the flip tie in his continuous struggle against the corporate monster? Lots of comics and (yes!) merchandise.
Bizarro
-
Calvin & Hobbes
-
Doonesbury
-
Non Sequitur
-
Shoe
Ballard
Street by Jerry van Amerongen
Pearls before Swine
Family Guy
John Callahan
Asterix
- For over thirty years now, the diminutive mustachioed Gaulish warrior and his wild-boar-eating sidekick Obelix have mesmerized European adult comic audiences. Needless to say, I own a complete set of their adventures. This site is the official
Asterix page.
Ren & Stimpy
- A chihuahua with a bad attitude and a cat with a blue nose??? I've always liked the
unusual, and this is right up my alley.

A Tribute to Laurel and Hardy
- The Boys just crack me up every time I see them. I still think they are the
funniest comedy duo of all time. Abbott and Costello don't even come close.
There are several privately maintained sites out in cyberland, and this is the best one I could find. Give me a holler if you come across something more interesting.
Honeymooners
- I became fascinated with Ralph, Alice, Ed, and Trixie while I was in graduate
school, watching late night TV and studying. This is still one of the best shows ever
to be broadcast on American television. Right in the kisser!
The Bob Newhart Show
- Bob? Oh Bob! Bob? Bob! Hi, Bob. Hello, Bob. Bob!
Mama's Family
-
-
The Jeffersons
-
Welcome Back, Kotter
- Ooooh, ooooh, ooooh, Mistah Kottah!
-
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
- Oh, Mister Grant.
-
The Odd Couple
- Oscar, how could you?

KIEL
- My home town is located on the coast of the Baltic Sea in Germany, and I was
naturally very happy when I finally found its web site. This page has a few
pictures for you. (Click on the British flag for English text.)

-

-

-
The Klingon Language Institute
- This site is a must for trekkers and people with exceedingly too much time on their
hands. Hey, I like watching Star Trek as much as the next guy, and I know that there is some serious linguistic research behind all this, but... For what it's worth, though, this site is quite interesting and contains
a bevy of information. So put on your turtle shells, practice your grunts, and surf's up!

People just don't know what good food is until they have tasted Bulgarian sheep's
cheese or Norwegian caramelized goat cheese. Not liking cheese should be a felony.
You will find all kinds of truly "cheesy" information here.
