MLA In-Text Citation Exercises

Read the essay "Part-Time Employment Undermines Students' Commitment to School" by Laurence Steinberg on pp. 554-557 in McWhorter and complete the following citation exercises as if you were citing Steinberg's essay in a research paper. Use the proper parenthetical MLA in-text citation method as discussed in class and as demonstrated in McWhorter on pp. 719-723 and 748-752. For each exercise, indicate which paragraph you were using (type "Paragraph 3" or whichever number applies above each answer) so that I may check your work more easily.

The article is printed on the second page of Section C. You have taken a quote from this article and have not identified the author in the introductory tag. In addition, you are using another two articles by this same author for your research. Give the proper in-text citation for your quote.
