All About Food

All students living in single campus housing are required to purchase a Meal Plan. Students can choose from one of four plans: 20-Meal Plan, 15-Meal Flex Plan, 10-Meal Flex Plan or a declining balance account, all of which are encoded on OneCard, the student ID.

The 20-Meal Plan provides for 3 meals per day, 6 days per week, 2 meals on Sunday, excluding vacation and holidays.
The 15-Meal Flex Plan is any 15 meals per week, plus $50 in a declining balance account.
The 10-Meal Flex Plan is any 10 meals per week, plus $100 in a declining balance account.

The declining balance account may be used at all food locations, including the convenience store.

Student Union Cafeteria

The Student Union Cafeteria, located in the Northwest corner of the student union building, serves 20 meals per week and provides grill services the majority of each day. In addition to the main entrees, vegetables and breads, a self-service soup and salad bar, deli style sandwiches, desserts, fruit and a variety of beverages are served. Soft serve ice cream and Colombo frozen yogurt are also available.

Most food service areas are closed during holidays, school vacations and break periods. The Student Union Cafeteria hours are the following:

University Market Convenience Store

The University Market Convenience Store is located in the commons area of the new campus residence halls. Freshly made sub style sandwiches and wraps, freshly cooked pizza, and freshly made pastries are only a few of the choices available to students and guests. In addition, laundry supplies and toiletries are available through the University Market Convenience Store. The SmartCard declining balance accounts and cash are accepted for food items and toiletries; cash only for non food purchases. The University Convenience Store hours are the following:

The State Room Dining Room

Culinary Arts students operate the State Room Restaurant and serve a lunch buffet on Thursday. The State Room Thursday Buffet is served 11:00 - 12:30.

Students may use their declining balance or cash. The restaurant is subject to close due to students special projects.

The Residential Life Offices are responsible for all phases of on-campus living. The staff in the offices will be glad to help you with your questions about on-campus living, payment arrangements, housing policies, employment in housing, or other topics. Please feel free to stop by the offices to discuss any of your concerns.
