You are about to be a part of more than 800 students who call the OSU-Okmulgee campus home. At OSU-Okmulgee, the halls are more than just a place to sleep and eat. They are exciting, active campus communities that promote a student's personal and academic well being.
Living as a part of your campus community is the best choice you can make to support your academic experience. OSU-Okmulgee statistics show that students who live on campus have higher GPAs compared to students who live off campus. Being on campus gives students the opportunity to be close to their classes, faculty, library, and brings them closer as a part of their campus community.
Six residence halls, creative dining options, and a caring staff provide alternatives to fit every need. From intramural sports teams to study sessions to Residence Halls Association meetings, there are plenty of activities in which to get involved. And as a member of RHA, you will have the opportunity to make and carry out decisions that will affect you and your fellow residents. You will make friends that will last a lifetime, and discover all kinds of new and exciting things.
Residential Life strives to make on-campus living beneficial for students with services and programming that is educational and entertaining. Programming ranges from Alcohol Awareness Week, Girls' Night In, Movie On the Lawn, Video Game Tournaments, Coffee Shop Open Mic-Nite, Finger Paint for Safety (safety programming for family housing), and a variety of off campus trips. All activities are planned, promoted, and facilitated by students.
Below you will find a Residential Life Room and Board contract. The Residential Life Room and Board contract is a legally binding, two-semester contract. Please read carefully the terms and conditions of this contract before you sign the contract. Please also fill out the Student Profile section so you may assist the staff in assigning your roommate. If you would like to have a specific person as your roommate, indicate the person's name in the appropriate area of the Student Profile section. Make certain that you use the person's full name and include his/her social security number, and mail/turn in both contracts together. We will make every effort to accommodate all specific requests in regards to roommates and types of room. Also enclosed you will find a meal plan brochure. Please look at your options and choose one that will meet your meal plan needs. All students in single student housing are required to have a meal plan.
If you live (graduated high school) more than 50 miles from the OSU-Okmulgee campus and are under 21 years of age, you are required to live on campus for two semesters. If you are receiving the out-of-state tuition waiver you are required to live on campus while receiving the waiver.
Please mail or return the completed contract and a deposit of $150.00 for Single / Non-Traditional Housing or a deposit of $500.00 for Family Housing to:
Residential Life Office, OSU-Okmulgee, 1801 East 4th St., Okmulgee, OK 74447.
