Our Mission

The Student Senate's mission is to promote a positive environment and foster positive relationships among the OSU-Okmulgee student body, administrators, faculty and staff. The Student Senate works diligently at passing legislation, utilizing the student bill system, and providing educational and social programming and addressing other key issues in a manner that will assure continued productivity within the institutional structure.

It is the continuous goal of the Senate to maintain representation from commuter students, each instructional discipline and campus housing. Membership in the Senate is open to any full-time student enrolled at OSU-Okmulgee subject to the requirements as indicated in the constitution.
