RHA Structure
RHA has two branches of Government, similar in many ways to the US Government. These branches are the Executive & the Legislative.
The Executive:
The Executive branch is made up of the President and Vice President. Both the President and Vice-President are elected positions decided by a popular vote of the Residents each semester. The President may then appoint a Treasurer, a National Communications Coordinator and any other chairs deemed necessary.
The Legislative:
The Legislative branch of RHA is comprised of the Resident Representative Council (RCC). This council is primarily comprised of students from Residence Hall, as well as RHA Vice-President, who heads up the council. The responsibility of the RCC is to inform RHA of activities in their respective Halls, write legislation, introduce new legislation from their Hall, and inform their respective hall of RHA activities.
Get Involved!
To have a say in the decisions made by RHA, and get the most out of what RHA can do for you, volunteer in the open forums of RHA. If you want even more involvement, become an RCC, or talk to the current RHA President about positions that will be appointed soon.
