Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) is proud to offer the Powering the Next Generation Scholarship. Students pursuing an Associate in Applied Science degree in Construction- High Voltage at OSU-Okmulgee can apply for the scholarship, which is awarded annually. The High Voltage Program provides practical hands-on and classroom training for careers in the line construction industry.

Scholarships are based on technical skills/abilities/interest in the line construction industry. Scholarships are available in the amount of $1071.00 for the first academic year and $714.00 for the second academic year ($357.00 for five semesters).

To be considered for PSO's Powering the Next Generation Scholarship Program, the student must:

• Be an Oklahoma resident
• Complete an OSU-Okmulgee application to pursue an Associate in Applied Science degree in Construction - High Voltage
• Complete high school or technology center coursework geared towards a technical curriculum
• Provide two copies of a high school transcript
• Provide two copies of certificates or transcripts from a technology center (if applicable)
• Complete the ACT or SAT college entrance exam
• Provide two letters of recommendation (one letter from the student's teacher, instructor or counselor)
• One-page essay describing technical experience
