Photography

Photography is involved in a major technology shift. A photographer must now be skilled in the use of new technologies as well as traditional ones. This requires precise skill and basic practices such as correct exposure, proper camera handling, aperture and shutter speed manipulations as well as digital photography, imaging and enhancement using the latest technology. These are all accepted tools for today's ever-changing photographic industry. Our graduates are prepared for a successful career in this ever challenging and expanding field of photography. Graduates may explore employment in advertising, commercial and portrait studios, newspapers and magazines, photographic laboratories and even self-employment in one of the many specialty areas.
