Today's graphic designer must be a precise communicator and apply creative skills and technical knowledge as well as attract and influence the consumer through design concepts. The ability to be creative problem solvers is extremely important in today's graphic design industry. To be a successful graphic designer requires knowledge and skills in drawing, design, typography, color, advertising, packaging, illustration, publishing, print production, computers and software. Our graduates have attained recognition as layout artists, designers, illustrators, web designers, art directors, creative directors, advertising agency executives, vice presidents and owners, art studio owners and freelance graphic designers.
