Education: A.A.S., OSU-Okmulgee Quote: As International Support Specialist for University and External Relations, Vicky Hollaway provides a cheerful and friendly voice for international students contacting the college about enrollment. Ms. Hollaway holds an Associate in Applied Science, Administrative Assistant degree and is registered with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and Homeland Security as a Designated Service Official (DSO). Vicky has worked at OSU-Okmulgee for more than 35 years in various capacities. Prior to her current position, she served as Senior Administrative Assistant for Engineering Technologies, worked with the regent’s summer academies and helped to establish the campus Tutorial Learning Center. She is very knowledgeable about the college and the Okmulgee community. 
Education: BS, Northeastern State University; MA, Southern Nazarene University Subjects: Communication Scholarly Interests: Learning Styles, Hands-on Applied Learning Quote: My teaching philosophy is to make myself not so much an expert in my field, but a partner in learning. I believe that every good teacher, in his or her own way, gives more to students than just content. Instilling values, whether they be honesty, integrity, good morals, or a 'can-do attitude' is just as important as the content being presented. Above all, my hope is that my students become empowered by their own learning. |
