Information Technologies

The Information Technologies Division works closely with industry partners to incorporate emerging technologies, professional certifications and paid internships into hands-on preparation for careers in Administrative Services, Web Development/E-Commerce, Application/Software Development, Network Systems and Information Assurance and Forensics.

The IT Division offers a four-semester Associate in Science (A.S.) in Information Technologies, a five-semester Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Information Technologies, a four-semester A.A.S. in Office Information Systems Technology, and a three-year Bachelor of Technology (B. T.) in Information Assurance and Forensics.

The A.A.S. and B.T. are designed for direct workforce placement, while the A.S. is intended for transfer to four-year institutions. The most popular choice among students seeking associate degrees in Information Technologies is the combined A.S./A.A.S. option.

The bachelor's degree in Information Assurance and Forensics is a technology-intensive, application-focused baccalaureate degree, which prepares individuals to protect computers, computer systems and networks from threats--such as hackers, viruses and worms--and investigate illicit cyber activities using state-of-the-art computer forensics technologies.

Please download the following Fact Sheets for more information on the Information Technologies Division's Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science and/or Bachelor of Technology degrees, as well as Admissions, Tuition and Fees, Housing and Meals and Student Financial Services.
