Natural Gas Compression

What is an Internship?

The summer internships give you the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired from the previous semesters' classes. Your internship may be at pipeline booster stations, gas processing plants, or working on various natural gas gathering equipment with industry professionals.

How do you find an Internship?

You may obtain an internship through the "Job Fair" during the spring semester, which is a service provided by the Gas Compression Program at OSU-Okmulgee. Students interview with companies offering summer internships during the Job Fair. Another option for finding an internship may be through your own personal contacts.

What companies offer internships?

Many companies will offer internships. The Job Fair will be a source of contact for companies with representatives present; however, it is not limited to only those present at the Job Fair.
