Cooperative Alliance - Office Information Systems
Associate in Applied Science (60 credit hours) The Office Information Systems program is a cooperative alliance program conducted jointly between OSU-Okmulgee and several of Oklahoma's technology centers. Office Information Systems (OIS) courses are offered at the technology centers' campuses. Required general education and support courses are offered at OSU-Okmulgee. The Office Information Systems Technology program prepares administrative information professionals to perform and coordinate administrative activities; integrate computer applications; use and support word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software applications; secure, store, retrieve and archive information; plan, implement and manage projects; generate documentation; and conduct research. Administrative information specialists work with other professionals in education, health services, law, governmental agencies, and many other organizational environments. This program is part of a cooperative alliance agreement and major courses are available at select career technology centers.
