A part of simultaneous learning for each student is a work-based component known as an Internship. Starting in 1998, all advanced technological education programs at OSU-Okmulgee required a least one, 6-12 credit hour internship experience. The High Voltage option being the exception, by having 5 internships 6 credit hours in each of the last 5 semesters 30 total credit hours. This is also on the job training, which will help with your full time employment after graduation.
Students will participate in the practical application of their skills, knowledge, and problem solving currently encountered in the workplace. Internships are arranged with small and large companies in diverse settings, allowing students to experience a wide variety in the industry.
